Coop la Maison verte is a community cooperative which offers ecological solutions for the home, as well as resources on sustainable consumption. It has recently become a grocery store, offering a large selection of organic foods including meat, cheese, and other pantry staples and bulk foods. We are the first multi-stakeholder environmental cooperative in Canada. We operate a friendly store and café in the Montréal borough of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG). Founded in 1999, today we are over 8,000 members strong and offer more than 1,000 ecological and fair trade products.
