April 3rd, 2006, I was blessed with breast cancer, today I can call myself  a ” Survivor”. Through my journey of  Self  Discovery , I learned how to understand people, to love, to trust, earn some self-esteem, I was able to conquer some of my fears, most of all I feel that I gain a strong sense of purpose.

The book, The Joy of Cancer ” A Journey of Self-Discovery” will help readers to see how one can take  a life-threatening diagnosis and used it as an opportunity to create a sacred bond with my children, adopt a positive attitude and keep giving back to others.

Without my cancer my life would be a different one today! Cancer open so many opportunities for me, these opportunities would not have happen with out my cancer!!! Enjoy what god gave you . You can’t change your sickness or the situation that you are in, but you can make it a better journey if you wish to… Mother of 3 beautiful children. Andrew, Laurie and Jeremy. Just celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary on October 17th, 2012. My passion is to volunteer and help other people, I was given a second chance in life to do what I love too. Please don’t wait until it is too late or to get cancer  to follow your dreams. Today I am blessed and I appreciate life !

Her joy of helping others and sharing her story continues since 2006… She is a Breast Cancer survivors. Loves to mentor others cancer fighters. Her book, The Joy Of Cancer will be published in October of 2012. A memoir aims to compel readers to find opportunity in adversity. Having completed her nutrition and Personal Training Certification , the next leg of her journey will benefit women by helping them get strong and healthy.  Spokeperson of the Week End to end breast cancer in 2006 . Sharing her story in different venues.  Spoke on Tedx Talk in Vegas in January 2012 . Inspire to encourage people to pursue their dreams. The best gift of all ,Is making a difference in just one more persons life.
